Whitewater Canoeing
Students will learn how to read and understand the hydrology of a river, basic paddle strokes, lean and angle of the boat and will have the opportunity to practice in solo and tandem canoes.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this course, you will be able to assess a river in regards of its hazards and will know how to paddle your canoe in easy whitewater. You will also know how to rescue other canoes in whitewater and how to treat all related equipment including how to tie down canoes to trailers.
