Introduction to Rock Climbing
Students will learn basic rock climbing techniques including movement, knots, rope handling, belaying, top rope system, rappelling, simple anchors, equipment use and handling, climbing communication and risk management.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course and the Squamish Rock Climbing Course, the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to be able to safely run a top rope session with clients. You will be able to assess rock climbing related risks and manage them, to keep yourself and others safe.

I currently work at a climbing gym in the Netherlands with children with either a mental or physical disability. The boost their confidence gets from climbing is an amazing process to witness.
